I...'Successful IT Projects in Excel' was the first. It was recommended for IT Key Skills tutors. Needless to say I didn't read it and needless to say I circumnavigated teaching Excel. I can admit that now I no longer am responsible for teaching IT Key Skills, a thank less task to have to do to numeracy phobic 16 year olds who never saw the point of it in relation to their art and design course. (And it was a separate qualification, if the didn't pass it, they would still get their National Diploma so where's the incentive?) And I agreed with them being numeracy phobic myself. If I ever want a spreadsheet creating (and I really have to stretch my imagination as to why that might be the case) then I'll pay someone to do it for me.Dubdoghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00845179324252167432noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25778209.post-41446291269579900552008-11-22T22:34:00.000+00:002008-11-22T22:34:00.000+00:00Is it in order? Have you also read the companion volume 'Unsuccessful IT Projects in Excel'? - in my experience it seems to be the more commonly read textbook.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
