Big Issue Film Festival

Exciting news just in that on the heel of DigiDigitDigital being shown in New York last month, my previous film, Contractual Freedom, made in 2006, has been shortlisted for the Big Issue Film Festival and will be shown at The Barbican in London on 28th November.

Waiting on info for my free ticket - lot on at the moment but I'd like to. Don't know whether I should go on the 29th as well as that's when the winners are announced but that is like assuming I'm in with a chance which I doubt I am.

Oh you should get a free ticket at least (or perhaps a few Big Issues to flog!) I'm free that night so might see you there and the Barbican's just a hop and a skip if u need to stop over.

Cheers, will let you know. If you do go and I can't, any chance of a review for Dublog?

Yeah maybe. Do you know what else is in the programme (the website is unilluminating)?

Not as yet. Emailed off some stills yesterday so I guess they are updating the website as we type.
Well, at least I know my work's going to be shown, I'm submitting some photos to a local exhibition in Ipswich and won't know whether the work has been accepted until I turn up to the private view and search for it on the wall! If it isn't they'll be the embarassing sight of me carrying my frames out under my arm!

Ah, you're discovering the indignity of being the artist! It's something of a rite of passage.
