This is the view out of my day job window and features the new waterfront building of University Campus Suffolk. If you can make out the sloping roof, this, in the coming months, will be covered with living breathing sedum and grass. I look to the right (out of the frame of this image) and I see more cranes on the Suffolk skyline (5 in total) symbolizing the regeneration that Ipswich is going through. New University, new dockside dance studio and cafes, new arts centre, growing arts scene and town centre galleries.
On the day that the Ipswich murder trial finally gave the victim's families and Ipswich as a whole some sort of closure, this image seems sort of fitting for the positive possibilities that face my home town.
