It is really annoying that I can't make it to the 'Design 4 Music, Music + Design' conference at St Bride Library next week. Unfortunately a previously cancelled training session and a very important meeting at work prevent it. I hope it's the first of many. If any Dublog readers make it, please send in reviews.

You can write a report of that if you like.
Lots of people shouting "Blair's a liar", a few lefty pop stars spewing forth, along with Tony Benn, George Galloway, Vanessa Redgrave (is she still alive?), Diane Abbott, SWP (or whatever they're called now) trying to hijack the event for their own ends (selling newspapers), cops being friendly but secretly wishing they could still get away with kettling... that sort of thing. Then everyone pissing off late for work where they'll watch the whole things online at BBC News 24, apart from groups of cider swigging crusties who hang around sneering at tourists... how's that?
You should be a journalist.
Pretty much sums up why I don't go to demonstrations anymore.
